Patricia Ann Sims

Born on March 31st, 1944, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Patricia was the daughter of Cardinal and Charlotte McCaughin. She grew up in a loving family and developed a passion for hairstyling at a young age. After completing her education, she trained as a hairdresser and soon established herself as a gifted professional with a keen eye for style and a warm personality.

In the 1980s, Patricia opened her first salon on Cape Cod, which quickly became a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. Her reputation for innovative hairstyles, exceptional service, and personalized attention grew, and she eventually opened several more salons in the area.

Patricia was known for her kindness, generosity, and love of family. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones. She was an avid cook and often hosted family dinners and gatherings, delighting everyone with her delicious meals. She also enjoyed exploring new places and was always eager to share her experiences with others.

Patricia is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Aaron and Angelle Merrill, her brother, David McCaughin, her sister, Nancy Jackson, as well as loving step-children, grand-children, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kara Merrill, her father, Cardinal McCaughin, her mother, Charlotte McCaughin, her brother, Joseph McCaughin, and her husband, Tony "Lodge" Sims.

Patricia's loss is deeply felt by her family and friends, who will remember her for her warmth, kindness, and beauty. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a talented hairdresser, loving mother and sister, and devoted friend.

A Graveside Service will be held for Patricia on Saturday May 6, 2023 at 12pm to celebrate her life and legacy with those closest to her. Sandwich Town Cemetery on Route 130 in Sandwich, MA.
