Nancy Lee Gallo

Gallo – Nancy Lee (Upton), 77, of Sagamore, died on December 2 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Plymouth. Nancy was a resident of Bourne most of her life and wintered in Hallendale, FL. She was self-employed as a bus driver in Bourne and had worked in civil service in Washington after graduating high school. She loved catching Baltimore Blue Crab at Mud Cove in Waquoit with her Auntie, Patrice Sampson of Monument Beach.

An avid Patriots fan, she and her late husband, John Gallo, owned a horse named Belichek. She also loved her pets, Booboo and Peanut but most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor, honesty and willingness to help others.

In addition to her aunt and her late husband John Gallo, she was the beloved mother of Christy Lee Harrington of Jacksonville, FL, Michael J. Harrington and his wife, Alison, of Sagamore, Stephen Harrington and his wife, Jean of South Berwick, ME, and Kathleen Harrington of Sagamore. Stepmother of Heather Cardoza and the late Anthony “Jon-Jon” Gallo. Sister of the late Wayne Upton. Loving grandmother of Harmony, Colbey, Michael, Matthew, Adam, Benjamin and Leah Harrington, Anthony Gallo and Hanna Cardoza. Great-grandmother of Jameson Harrington. Aunt of Sharon Gendron of Monument Beach.

Visiting hours will be on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rt. 6A, Sandwich. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church 324 Quaker Meeting House Rd., Sandwich at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Sandwich Town Cemetery.
