Just cleaned out my email box and found this. Hi daddy, miss you so much.

My first-born -- my son Michael.  I see him as a little boy trailing me with his red wagon-- a little hand grabbing at my skirt, begging to be picked up-- I turn to do just that and he is not there. I hope, I think he is somewhere beautiful -- someplace much better and easier and less weighed down than life here on earth.  A part of me has been robbed of light--my soul dark and empty.

Michael was a very loved big brother to my best friend, Juliana.  He always welcomed us with steamed lobsters and corn on the cob.  What good memories of a remarkable man!  Diane

Dear Sarabel:  So sad to hear about the death of you son.  I put up his picture and o my goodness he looks so much like your Dad as I remember him. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I would like to express our sincerest condolences to the O'conner family from everyone here at the Lobster Trap. Michael was one of the finest gentleman to every come through our doors.He was an absoulte delight to deal with and will be greatly missed . Please know you are in our thoughts as you go through this difficult time.

   We at the Wareham Annex Post Office were so sorry to hear of Mike's unexpected passing last weekend.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.  He will be greatly missed by his fellow AO drivers, the mailhandlers, and the clerks.                                   I will especially miss our talks on vegetable gardening.  We were always talking about our gardens as to what and when we planted.

We are so so sorry to hear about Mike. He was a special person, always had a smile, he was very proud of his children. A great man whose memory will love on forever.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love and friendship leaves a memory no one can steal. Your father was a great man, I'm proud to have known him. I'm going to miss him dearly. Growing up around that O'Connor household was an absolute treat. Love you guys and I'll see you soon.

Dear Caleb, Corey and Laruen, sad to hear about the passing  of your dad. I knew him to be a man of solid character, one who had a great sense of humor and a man who knew how to bring it.  Times long ago on Stonefield Drive will burn in my memory forever. Your parents were awesome neighbors and it was fun to watch you the three of you grow up. So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I have great memories of High School and hanging out with Mike. Street hockey at Stephens field while we were suppose to be in class always brings a smile to my face when I think of it. I can only hope you find some peace in all of this.

MIke was a special person, he had the uncanny ability to make you laugh no matter what the circumstances.
