Michael Heckman, 73 of Sagamore Beach, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 from cardiac complications. He was born in Kittanning, PA an only child of the late Howard and Patricia (Moore) Heckman.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vicki J. (Silvis) Heckman. They resided in Kittanning until 1989, making their permanent home in Sagamore Beach, MA in 1991.
Michael served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969.
He was a nuclear power technician for 25 years at Pilgrim Power Station in Plymouth, MA. He was initially employed by Boston Edison and later Entergy Corp.
He enjoyed reading, classic rock music and social media. He had an extensive model car and seashell collection.
