We wanted to let everyone know that our mom, Midge (Jardin) Correia passed away on Wednesday January 24th. Many people were unaware that mom had been battling COPD for several years. In early January she contracted RSV which triggered a COPD flare up. She was hospitalized and fought hard for nearly 3 weeks but was unable to recover. On the morning of her death, she was surrounded with many of those that loved her, she went home to Jesus peacefully just before noon.
We were blessed to have a caring and loving Mother who was very much loved by her other 2 “kids” Missy and Keith, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was a great friend to those that were blessed to know her. Mom had lived with Tricia and Keith for the last 10 years in an apartment attached to their home and spent much of her time with her grandkids and great-grand-kids. She loved nature and watching the birds and squirrels from her deck.
Mom was a very talented woman and for the last several years put those talents to use making specialty themed ornaments and selling them at local craft fairs. She was an amazing woman and will be very much missed.
Per Mom’s wishes there will not be a funeral or memorial service. She will be cremated and her ashes will be spread on our family property in New Hampshire.
