Kyle Robert Hanson

He was born on August 21st; 1962 in Bedford, MA to the late Neil Hanson and Marion Hanson. Kyle was infamous in Bedford having grown up alongside his brother, the late Neil Hanson Jr. and surviving sister, Kristen Cummings. Kyle shared his laughter and love of hockey with his brother’s family, wife Lisa, nephews Nicholas, Christopher, Matthew, and niece Samantha Hanson. Kyle brought his banter and endless love to his sister’s family of the late William Cummings, niece Courtney Morse and life partner Gary Asher. Kyle’s unwavering love spread to his cousins Lori Livermore Hack and Karen Livermore Crist.

Kyle relocated to Cape Cod and was eager to start a family with his love, Kimberly Hanson, they married on October 18, 1997. He moved mountains to fill her home with five beautiful children, daughters Brooke 23, and Julia 22, sons Owen 17, Cole 17, Ryan 15. Kyle dedicated his life to fatherhood, moving his herd to Peter’s Pond to share his passion of fishing, skating, boating, and family. Kyle touched many young lives through his coaching. He focused his work on mentorship and brought laughter to every field, rink, and court. Forever in our hearts Special K.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA.
