Karl F. Verderber of East Sandwich, MA, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at the age of 87. He was the husband of the late Shirley Helen (Nelsen) Verderber. Originally from Walpole where he resided with his family, he has lived in East Sandwich for the last 25 years.
Born in Norwood, MA, he was the son of the late Francis and Annie (Borsig) Verderber. He was a graduate of Walpole High School where he played hockey and tennis. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and dedicated his career to working in local pharmacies. He married the love of his life Shirley Nelsen in 1962 and had two daughters. Karl was known for his easy going nature and loved his grandchildren, gardening and watching anything sports related.
He is survived by his daughters Carol A. Archambeault and her husband Mark of East Sandwich and Gail O’Leary and her husband Timothy of Norton, MA; along with his 3 grandchildren, Sarah Archambeault, Abigail O’Leary and Michael O’Leary.
A private graveside service will be held at the East Walpole Cemetery.
