Karen Ann Archambeault Leonard

Karen was born in Woonsocket, RI. She was raised in Attleboro and Boston, MA. She graduated from Cathedral High School with honors. She met and married the love of her life, Ronald Leonard, her beloved husband, with whom she shared 48 years. She and Ron lived in Attleboro for 22 years before relocating to East Sandwich, MA. She and Ron divided their time between East Sandwich and Sarasota, FL. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, gardening and spending time with her four grandchildren.

Karen was the owner of Yesterday’s Village Gift Shop and K&A Supply Company with her husband in North Attleboro, MA. until moving to Sandwich in 1993, where they became the owners of The Sandy Neck Motel.

Karen was devoted to her family and is survived by her husband Ronald, her daughter Jennifer and her husband Daniel Megan, grandchildren Brianna Leonard, Thomas, Daniel, and Kelly Megan. She is also predeceased by her son Robert Leonard.

Visiting hours will be held 4 to 7 on Wednesday July 19th at Nickerson- Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A in Sandwich, MA. A service will be held on Thursday July 20th at 10AM at the funeral home, burial will follow at Sandwich Town Cemetery.
