Joseph Francis Burke, 88, of Sandwich, passed away on June 22, 2018 in Hingham. He was the husband of the late Delia A. (Earner) Burke and son of the late Joseph Leo and Mary A. (McInerney) Burke; he is survived by his sister Marie A. Dower of Rockland, MA and many nieces and nephews. Joe was very active in his parish of Corpus Christi and St. Peter's in Sandwich; he enjoyed reading at the Canal; dining out with friends; and digging into one of his favorites, a huge lobster roll. He had a great sense of humor and will be sorely missed by many. A funeral service will be held on Saturday June 30th at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 RT. 6A in Sandwich, MA.
