A wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, great-great-great-grandmother has left us all peacefully to join her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Hazel was a CNA for many years on Cape Cod. She also loved Bingo and an occasional trip to Foxwoods.
She was predeceased by her first husband Roy James Cahoon Sr., Roy Jr. (Gunner), daughter Sandra Wentworth, Granddaughter Lisa Trusty, Grandsons Ronald (Marky) Cahoon, Raymond Cahoon Jr., and Charles Cahoon.
She was also predeceased by two sisters Evelyn Shirtleff and Daisy Vance, and brother Robert (Bud) Purdy Jr., and a special nephew Walter Cahoon.
During a time of despair she met the love of her life. A man that loved all of the family as his own, John Paul Canady, the most amazing man whom she loved and adored for 58 years as much as he adored her.
She is Survived by two daughters Joan Earle and husband James of Mashpee and Beatrice Quirk of Colonial Beach, VA. Four sons Robert Cahoon and wife Mildred of Smyrna, N.C., Richard Cahoon and wife Brenda of Fayetteville, N.C., Roger Cahoon and wife Marleen of West Yarmouth, Raymond Cahoon and wife Shirley of PA.
"Gram," as she was called by most, was loved by her entire family and will be deeply missed by all. The family would like to say a great appreciation to the Hospice staff who treated our Mom and Gram with such tenderness.
