Glen Alan Washington, Jr. of Forestdale and Somerville, MA passed away on June 21, 2021. Glen was born at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis on June 8, 1985 to the late Glen Alan Washington Sr., and Marsha (Nolan) Ferrick.
Glen was an eclectic individual for sure. He was a multi-talented musician, a lover of learning, a master mechanic, computer guru, and lover of languages. He was teaching himself Icelandic and at the age of 9 he was learning Japanese.
He was an artist, photographer, an encourager of those who were hurting, lover of animals; especially his family pets. He especially enjoyed kayaking and loved to travel and did so extensively.
Glen will be missed terribly by all who knew and loved him. His memory will always be a light in this world.
He is survived by his parents, Myles J. Ferrick, Jr. and Marsha A. Ferrick, and his brother, Myles J. Ferrick III, as well as his uncles, aunts, cousin, and their children and extended family. Glen is also survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins from his Washington side of the family. WE are a blended family who loved this guy very much. We cannot forget to mention Glen also leaves behind countless friends who were loved and cherished by him. He will live in our memories and hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday August 14th at 1-5 p.m. at the American Legion Pavilion 20 Main Street Sandwich, MA. Burial of ashes is private, invite only before the gathering. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to an organization of one’s choice.
