Christopher John Marconi

Christopher was born to Elizabeth and Kenneth Marconi March 21, 1985 in Plymouth, Ma. Chris graduated from upper Cape Technical high school and earned a full-ride scholarship to Mass Maritime Academy where he played for the MMA rugby team. Chris was self-employed and owner of Sandwich Glass and Mirror. Additionally he loved to dabble in other economic enterprises: collecting and selling antiques, jewelry, coins and cryptocurrency. Chris was passionate about fishing and was always ready and prepared to teach a friend how to “cast a line”. He was involved in a serious motorcycle accident but previously was a passionate bike rider. Chris will be remembered for his compassion and enthusiasm for life and work, sharing this with family and friends with long evening discussions, at times extending well into the night.

Chris is survived by his parents Elizabeth Marconi of Bourne and father Kenneth Marconi of Pocassett, sister Erin Marconi and niece Lilly Marconi of Barnstable, Godparents and six cousins. Chris was particularly close to Lilly who adored her “Funky Unky”.

The family is cherishing the continued support through shared photos and memoirs. The family will welcome friends, family and community to join together at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home in Sandwich, for a final farewell to Chris on Saturday November 12, 2022 5-8 PM.

Chris will be laid to rest at a private burial at sea.
