Barbara Pearl Jones

JONES, Barbara Pearl, 91, of Sandwich, MA passed away at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, on April 30, 2020. She was the daughter to the late Fred W. and Virginia Cash (Bassett) in Hyannis, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Cleveland Bernard Jones who she was happily married to for 59 years.

Barbara grew up in Hyannis, and graduated from Barnstable High School. She was an avid swimmer and loved spending time with her friends, family, and especially her grandchildren at the beach. She was a member of the Sandwich Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and also belonged to the Sandwich Womens Bowling League for many years. She was the most open hearted, outgoing person and will be missed dearly.

Barbara leaves behind her 3 daughters Brenda L. Lehmann and husband Keith of Leland, NC, Linda M. Parsons and husband Robert of Nashua, NH, and Susan K. Butland and husband Dale of Sandwich, MA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her sister Gloria (Cash) Martin and her brothers: Theodore Cash and Donald Cash.

Services will be private at this time and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
