Lynne Flora Azevedo 73, of San Rafael walked into eternity on Monday February 11, 2013. She was born in San Francisco to Roger and Peggy Perkins. When she was 10 years old her family moved to Southern California where she lived until after she graduated from high school. She then moved back to Marin where she resided until her death.
She was employed and retired from the law firm Morrison and Foerster in San Francisco. She then worked for the San Francisco Giants for 7 years in guest services and had to retire due to her failing health.
She is survived by her husband Milton G. Azevedo; son Edward A. Kemp, Brothers; Fred Perkins, Fredrick Von Renner, Jonathan Von Renner; sisters; Susan Woods and Judy Perkins. Grandchildren; Ashley Kemp, Caley Urenda; Great Granddaughter Aliyah Urenda. Numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Anthony “Rick” Cappella, a nephew David Perkins, and her parents Roger and Peggy Perkins. She also left behind her constant companion, her black lab “Sadie”.
Lynne had a great passion and love for gardening and was known as the “rose lady” of her neighborhood. Her home was always adorned with fruits of her garden. As an avid Giants fan she attended home games and at times followed them to out of town games as well as spring training in Arizona.
She was always very active and liked to travel and shop.
A celebration of Lynne’s life will be held at Keaton’s Mortuary at 1022 E Street San Rafael, CA on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 10 a.m.
