Katie Nel Adams was granted her angel wings on May 26, 2020 at the beautiful age of 90. Our angel is now with the Lord leaving us with a life filled with prayers and wisdom to pass on to the future generations. She has touched us all in some way throughout her memorable life. Katie was the sweetest, kindest, God-fearing person you would want to know. She never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. With her contagious smile she never complained about the job, as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she would do anything for her family. She was the epitome of a woman, and a pillar with her family, friends, and church. Katie was a hard-working resilient woman that would work tirelessly in the church, her job, and wherever she was needed. Family and church were her passion, and she made sure you knew what God she served. Sitting on the back pew ushering in her fellow church members and encouraging people off the street to come in if they stopped by the door for just a second. Katie would work to finish the job by offering them a seat in the house of the Lord. Now her work is done, and God has called her home where she has been given a permanent seat in heaven above.
