Born in Oakland, grew up in San Leandro, CA, lived in Las Vegas for the past 20-25 years. Brother to Don Candelario (Mary Candelario), Mike Candelario (Lynne Candelario), Renee McGinnis (Marshall McGinnis). Has three children, Daughter-Lisa Candelario, Daughter Lauree Candelario-Ruiz (Dan Ruiz), and Son Cory Candelario; 4 Grandchildren, Janae Coleman-Alicea, Marc Lacey, Logan Ruiz, and Alizabeth Ruiz; 1 Great Grandchild, Maliah Alicea; and many, many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
His greatest passion in life was golfing. Dad waited until all of his grandchildren, kids and family kissed him goodbye to take his last breathe. Dad died with a golf ball in his hand, and held onto it until the end. Dad lived his life doing what he wanted to do.
