George Amato, a Veteran of World War II and a life long resident of Alameda County passed last Tuesday, January 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Ida Amato and daughter Carol Ann Amato. He is survived by his two sons Steven and Scott Kell. He leaves behind a wealth of friends and family: His Children, Steven and his wife Alissa Kell, Scott and his wife Patt Kell. Thirteen grandchildren; Stephenie Kell, Jason and Kellie Kell, Aaron Scolari and Amy Thomas, Jamie and Paul Greeson, Jennifer Kell, Sean Kell, Julie and Joey Gaffey, Lauren Kell and Brenna Kell. As well as seven great Grandchildren; Gavin Turner, Ben and Cate Kell, Kassidy and Donovan Greeson, Mary Gaffey and Charlotte Scolari, along with many other loved relatives.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for George will be held Saturday, February 5th, at Guerrero Mortuary 407 Estudillo Ave. San Leandro CA Visitation begins at 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 am.
