My 18th Birthday with grandma’s friends 

Going to the Philippines first time seeing my grandma 

Lola was an amazing person. She always supported me, and taught me to succeed. One of the wishes she had was to see me graduate, walk the stage, and open my college acceptance letter. Although she may not be with us now to see it happen, I know she is watching from above. She always showed love to everyone around her. Lola loved to smile and laugh, especially around friends and family. I can recall every time we had a group call with our family in the Philippines, and she would be so happy to see them. She truly reflected happiness and joy. I'm so honored to have been your apo  for almost 17 years, and I'm so glad you were my lola.  Thank you for absolutely everything.
