Dear Mom,

My heart still hurts. I miss you. Even though you were quiet and kept yourself busy in the house, either playing  solitaire on your laptop or watching your Filipino soap operas with dad, the house seems even quieter now. And although the house is full of your love through pictures and the memories we have of you, your physical presence is gone. I miss hearing you happily greet Mikey and Olivia in the morning or when they come home from school. I miss hearing you talk on the phone with Ninang for hours on end and laughing at the stories you exchanged. I miss all the fuss you would make during our family gatherings to make sure we ate enough food. I miss the smile on your face after coming home from your weekend “school” sessions with dad. I miss coming home to the scent of your cooking after a long day at work. 
I know you are at peace, and you have been promoted to our guardian angel. I wish we had more time where you could still be my mom, but God was ready to welcome you with open arms.  And I know you are happy in heaven. Thank you for loving us unconditionally. You and dad have made a good life for us, and after watching you, I know how to be a good mom to my kids.  I love you with all my heart Mom.  Rest In Peace.

Winning big money in Vegas! My Mom gave me & Ryan such good luck! 

Where do I begin? My mom was the heart of our family. Always providing and making sure everyone and everything was taken care of. She was always prepared, well organized, giving, and great at planning. My mom was also a phenomenal cook. I’m sure many people will remember her signature Filipino dishes like vegetable lumpia, pancit, adobo, palabok, fruit salad, cassava cake, bibingka, tokwat baboy, & kilawin (just to mention a few). I remember growing up, her and my dad hosted so many family parties at our house, and played mahjong and pusoy through the night until the morning.  My Mom’s love for gambling is another memory I have of her. I’ve actually only been out to gamble at casinos with her a few times, but on those few occasions I remember winning money! I know my mom was lucky like that, and good luck to others. I’m sure in her lifetime she won more times than she lost. I find a strange comfort in knowing that her last memories were eating at Taco Bell (one of her favorite fast food places), with my dad, then going to the casino and being up almost $500. I am grateful we got to spend one last wonderful Christmas together as a family, it will be one I cherish forever. However, my heart feels beyond broken knowing that within the span of one week, God blessed me with my precious baby Noah, but then took away my Mom. There is a saying that when you lose someone you love, you gain an angel you know. So I really believe with all my heart that my Mom will be Liam & Noah’s guardian angel, protecting and watching over them even when she’s in heaven. Rest In Peace, Mom. I love you more than words can say! ❤️

She was my wife, Virginia. To her parents, siblings, and relatives, she was Elsa. But to me, I called her Honey.  She was a very loving wife.  She was a generous person and liked helping people. She loved her grandkids so much. She was an excellent cook. I especially loved when she cooked my favorite Filipino dishes: pancit, lumpia, adobo, dinuguan , etc. She was also very organized. When we would go on trips, mainly to the casinos, she was on top of everything. She packed well ahead of time. We loved going to the casinos. She took such good care of me. I’m going to miss my honey. I know she is in a better place now. Rest in peace honey. I love you forever.

My deepest condolences to the Mr Malvar, Jane, Jo and family. I know this is a difficult time, whenever there is a struggle pray to Mrs Malvar and she will guide you through the moment.
My memory of Mrs Malvar is her smile and hugs she always gave me when I came over or seen her  at Mikey and Olivia’s events. I love our talks as we sat at birthday parties, we could talk about anything and laugh at silly things.  I know she will watch and  guide her family from heaven. Love always Anna Silva
