I miss you Nanay, specially when you say "Bwisit!" when I play with your ears. I enjoyed eating ice cream with you during our trip to Mexico. Thank you for being one of the people who took care of me. I'm really glad that I got to spend time with you as my grandma. Please don't worry about us. We will be okay. Enjoy your next journey with Lolo. I love you Nanay.

Nanay was always so kind to me and all the friends who would hang out at the house. “Kain na!” (Let’s eat!) would often be the refrain, but she’d also ask us about school, then eventually work, our love lives, and finally our families. Her combination of sweetness and strength will be missed, but her legacy will endure for generations to come.

“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”

I love you and I miss you so much. There are still days that I wake up and think of you, sometimes forgetting that you are gone.  A huge part of my life is missing. And I don’t think I will ever feel whole again. I will wait for the day until we see each other again.  Good bye for now, Nanay.  I will hold all the memories and love in my heart until then.

Ma, you have been a pillar of strength to me. The light of my life! A good role model to look up to! You have taught me how to be independent, to be strong, to make right choices, to be generous, to care for someone, and to love God above all. The only thing you haven’t taught me is how to be strong and find consolation when you go on this journey on your own. Now I feel at a lost without you!
We will surely miss you, Ma. You will be in my heart forever!

My grandmother gave me a sense of who I am and where I came from.  I am incredibly lucky to have her as my lola and she was also an integral close part of my life.
She is so much a part of who I am that even though I knew she would one day leave us, I cannot quite believe she is gone.
Ma, thank you for everything. You impacted my life in so many ways.
I will always love you and I will save a special corner of my heart to keep you with me.
And I know we will miss you every day of our lives.
Rest in peace Ma, I picture you dancing with Daddy and floating in heaven.

Nanay, thank you for touching our lives while you were in the hospital. Sa sandaling nakasama po namin kayo sa hospital, naramdaman ko po yung warmth and love ng isang ina. May your soul rest in peace… May God heal the aching hearts of her loving children and family, and may all those special memories help her family through this difficult time! ❤️🙏
