I grew up hearing wonderful stories of my tío Victor.  How he was a gregarious and open person, always a joke on hand, a song, a positive take on life's tough blows.  My mom described her big brother as someone generous and protective, someone who looked after other's well-being before his own.  Tío Victor showed up to my wedding in Indiana and sang a funny song during the celebration.  I dont' remember what it was about, but I remember thinking that my tío was fearless - somewhat of a Nava trait.  Thank you tío Victor for being my mom's big brother and taking care of her and of all of your younger siblings in San Pancho.  May God welcome you into His kingdom and bless your family - tía Raquel and my cousins - who will surely miss you.
