Van is survived by his wife, Ny ThiQuynh Nguyen; his sons Billy Gia Le, Jason Gia Le; his mother Ich Thi Nguyen; his brothers Giang Truc Le (Trang Dang), "Keven" Hai Truc Le, Thomas Thuan Truc Le (Huong Nguyen), Dang Truc Le, Thuy Truc Le, Nha Truc Le (Terilyn Le), Thi TrucHoang Le, and sisters Trang Hong Le (Phu Nguyen) and Tracy Hong Le.
Van was preceded in death by his father, Sam Van Le.
A Le Phat Tang for Van will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose. Tham Vieng will be at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Le An Tang from 12:30 PM to 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose.
