Tony Padilla was born to Ada and Arturo Padilla on May 9, 1981 in San Jose, California. He graduated from WyoTech Trade School in 2005 as a welder. He had various jobs throughout the years from Northrup Grumman to more recently being a security guard. Tony spent much of his life in the Bay Area and had recently spent the last couple years in Soquel (Santa Cruz).
Tony was blessed with two children, Danica and Anthony, and loved spending time with them. One of their favorite activities was going to the beach together.
Tony was gentle giant who had a knack for one liners and being a jokester. He loved being around people and was always encouraging and uplifting to others. Tony loved to collect things and was especially fond of shoes, (over 200 pairs!), baseball hats, antiques and skate boards. He loved to watch old movies and listen to all genres of music, with his favorite being Motown.
Tony is survived by his children, Danica and Anthony Padilla; his parents, Ada and Arturo Padilla; his sister, Liz Salvagno and her husband, Robert and nephews, Noah and Isaiah Salvagno.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Saturday, August 27, 2022 starting at 11:00 a.m. at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, with the Funeral Service to begin at 1:30 p.m.
