Tan Van Nguyen, 68, of San Jose, CA. passed away on December 22, 2013. He was also known as “Cao Son” by his friends and colleagues. Tan Nguyen, son of Thao Van Nguyen and Mai Thi Nguyen, loving husband of Thu Tran passed away on December 22nd at his home in San Jose, CA after a year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Thu and daughter Viet-Ha (Haley).
Tan was a reporter for more than 45 years. He devoted his life to his work. He participated in many charity fundraising events with the last one to help the victims of the Typhoon Haiyan.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held Sunday, December 28th and Monday, December 29th at Oak Hill Funeral Home.
