To my beautiful mother,
I don’t know where to even start. You where always a great mother and grandmother. You weren’t just a mother to me but my best friend you knew everything about me. My love for you is so big and I know you are now happy and dancing in heaven. Thank you for everything you did for me. All the great memories I hold deep in my heart I will forever cherish.  My heart is aching but I know one day we will be together again. I know you will be watching over us even though I can’t see you I know you will always be there. I miss you so much when we would watch movies together late at night and go shopping at Macy’s. Thank you for everything you did for me. When I close my eyes and think of you I see your big smile always happy and laughing. And that is how I will always remember you as . I love you mommy and miss you so so much! 


The world got a little dimmer with the passing of our beloved tia. That phrase truly resonates with our family. Although we grieve her absence, we'll remember  all the memories she gifted us.  My greatest memories of Tia Sylvia, or Tia Ursula (more on that later), is with her and tio Larry in that big red Bronco, and me riding up in the front seat area; was it safe? No. Was it fun? Hell Yes and she let me ride up there every time. 
I felt so special, flashy and coolest whenever she would pick me up in that signature grey Chrysler with leather seats. She would pick me up, light her Kent 100 and just cruise through the highway. Sometimes we would stop at a store, but most of the time I remember stopping at the nail shop which is where I began my love for nails; she had the dopest nails. We would gladly show them off whenever we saw each other. Tia was so Gotti and bougie; an OG trendsetter. Never sencilla that's for sure. My favorite thing about her were the nicknames she had for everybody. You'd walk in a room and when she saw you, you knew she would shout out her nickname for you;  whether you liked it or not, and it always followed by her loud and booming laugh. Just as an FYI, mine was Cruella and I don't mind it bc she knew how much I love Disney. Whenever tia saw me, it was "Hey Cruella", and I would shout back "Aye Tia Ursula." She always got the first roast. You can feel her presence in a room just by her laughter, cracking a joke, or her grilling you about ANYTHING. But none of us really mind because it was her way of showing love.  She was herself 100% of the time and didn't care. I will always respect and admire that she was never apologetic about her individuality, which is something I loved about her. So remember who she was and how she would roasted you because that was my beloved tia Sylvia. Tia, give a hug to my abuelos, Tío Raúl and dance with your best friend. And from time to time, let us know how you're doing.

To my beloved Godmother,  My heart aches, literally all the strings in my heart are being tugged at this moment.  You leave me with so many beautiful memories and its hard to choose just one to share.  A memory that made me smile just two days ago was when we went to the Drive In's in San Jose.  It was you, Tio Larry, my sister Melissa, Jerina who was only two at the time and I.  We went in the Bronco Tio Larry had at the time, and I hid down on my seat and Jerina sat on top of me so we could sneak in.  We had such a blast that night, Melissa and I use to love to go and spend the night with you because you were the "cool aunt", we always had so much fun when we were together.  Querida Madrina te voy a extranar tanto, todavia no lo puedo creer, no lo puedo acceptar que tu ya no estes con nosotros.  Te amo Tia Sylvia!
