Dedicated, generous, and hard-working, Stefan's legacy as a loving husband and father will be most lasting. He was a man who enjoyed surrounding himself with his family and many friends, who will fondly remember his love for music, fun parties, his passion for cooking, and his dedication to his beloved Chargers.
Stefan is survived by his wife Kathy Kolivas, his daughters Irene Kolivas, Alexandra Kolivas and Marianthe Karahalios; his son-in-law Dimitri Karahalios; his brother Steve Sacoolas and his sister-in-law Sandy Sacoolas; his niece Ana Mahaffey and her husband Will, his nephews Mark, Christian and Justin Sacoolas and their wives Marnye, Jen and Kathleen; his grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
He is now reunited with his father, Emanuel Kolivas, his mother Irene, his brother John Sacoolas and his best buddy, Sampson.
Trisagion and funeral services will be held at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 1260 Davis Street, San Jose, CA 95126. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022, Trisagion service at 7 p.m. The Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022. Burial to follow at 12:00 noon, Mission City Memorial Park, 420 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara, CA 95050.
