Our condolences to all of you on the passing of "grandpa".  I remember sitting around your house in the 1950's talking to your dad while your mom cooked in the kitchen.  I'm blessed to have you for a friend and for having known your dad who is now with your mom again.

Mussy just let us know about Sam's dad passing and I know that Grandpa's death is a huge loss for you as well as for Sam....he was such a wonderful person, even though I only met him a handful of times he made a big impression on me!  May we all grow old the way he did -- fully engaged, with a warm smile for everyone around him, and taking pleasure in life.

Dear Sam

I am writing to offer my condolences on the death of your father.  What a sad time this must be for you and the family.  I know that Grandpa lived a full life and only recently had taken ill, but I am sure nothing really prepares you for the loss of a parent.

I know that Grandpa was a central figure for your family and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know him at gatherings at your home over the years.  He told stories well, a trait that lives on in you, and I appreciated his willingness to share his experiences as a young man.  He clearly led by example.  He valued family and treating people fairly.  Grandpa will be missed, but his memory touches the lives of your family and all of us fortunate to know him.

Sam, our sympathies are with you and all the family.  Our prayers are with you all.  May Grandpa be remembered for eternal blessing.

Dear Othro Grandpa! My heart is content and my memories are filled with so many great times with you. I was very fortunate to have spent so many days with you. Starting as a little girl going to pick walnuts with you, going to the Club with you and grandma, helping you Mow lawns then going to McDonalds to celebrating your 50th Wedding Anniversary, to celebrating your 95th Birthday! May you rest in peace, watch over my mom and kids and let me know you are ok. I love you and miss you already!
