Ruth V. Goytia

She was loved by all and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her children, Ruth and John Barrera, Jeannette Noriega, Paul and Toni Goytia, her sister Angie Flores, her Grandchildren, John Barrera, Anthony Barrera, Cynthia Barrera, Thomas Noriega, Steven Noriega, Natalie Carrasco, and Paul Goytia. She is also survived by 20 Great Grandchildren and 16 Great Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Joseph Goytia as well as many brothers and sisters.

Ruth Goytia was born on July 4, 1921 to Francisco Vasquez and Timotea Godines. She married Joseph Goytia August 10, 1941 and they resided in San Jose, CA. She had a great work ethic and owned her own dry cleaning business at one time. She was a devoted Catholic and her life was dedicated to her family and God. She was a warm loving woman and her legacy will live on with her family.

Services will be as follows; viewing will be at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Rosary at 7:00 pm on December 21 at Willow Glen Funeral Home located at 1039 Lincoln Avenue, San Jose. On December 22 a Mass will be held at St. Maria Goretti Church located at 2980 Senter Road, San Jose at 12:00 pm. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose at 1:30 pm. A reception to will follow at 804 E. Julian Street, San Jose. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ruth Goytia's life.
