Rudy was born in San Jose to Felicia and John Robles. After graduating from James Lick High School, Rudy served his country in the U.S. Army from 1956-1963. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass after working there for 30 years, from 1959-1989. He worked 10 more years at Campbell Union School District.
Rudy is preceded in death by his wife Yvonne, who passed away in 2001. He leaves behind his sons Greg (Vanya), and Jeff, along with Grandchildren Matthew, Chris, Amanda, Victoria, Jeffrey, Jessica, Vincent, Nicholas and Great Grandchildren Nevan, Kiai, Isabella, Giovanni, Kayla and Mason.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose. Burial to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln Street, Santa Clara. Family and friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life reception at 1:30 p.m., Giorgio's Restaurant, 1445 Foxworthy Ave., San Jose.
