Could never forget my dear cousin Rudy! He was an amazing son, father, and extended family member who always was kind to everyone.  My very favorite was when you took us on your boat for a ride the day of a family reunion.  You just remind me so much of my dad. My love to Socorro ,the kids, my Tia and Tio, and cousins. Love you all so much. Continue to rest in peace dear Rudy.

My primo Rudy was truly a loving husband,father,grandpa,son, brother,tio, cousin Friend ❤ he was all about family, he was so much like my Dad (RIP) always helping,giving abd expecting nothing in return. Primo you leave a beautiful legacy you have proven to be unique! You are loved and greatly missed. As kids we spent our 4th of July  with you guys,we have many memories. I remember about 8 yrs ago Jimmy and I were celebrating our birthdays at a night club. I was beyond happy and so surprised to see you and Socorro there you truly made my day extra special ❤ there are many more memories,like,  you giving us a ride on your boat at family reunion beautiful times. You had that serious look but you were a loving teddy bear. Thanks for the memories. May You Rest In Eternal Paradise & the Perpetual light shine upon you. 

On another occasion a few NBA seasons ago I was sitting at home when I noticed that my favorite team, the Clippers were playing Rudy's beloved Warriors.  I then decided to drive up to San Jose from Oxnard to watch the game (I don't remember who won) with Rudy and Marisela at a local chicken wing spot (I don't remember which one),  while there Rudy took the chicken wing challenge (I don't remember which one won, Rudy or the wings).  What I do remember is that I was in the company of a great cousin and friend.  These road trips will be missed. Rudy and my dad can now watch games together. RIP Primo.

Rudy you were always the cute little cousin to me. I don't have teen or adult memories since I moved so far away at a very young age. But I am rejoicing in everyone else's memories of you that confirm that you were indeed the cutest little cousin. I shall cherish my memories of you and enjoy those that are shared by others.  May you rest in peace with our Lord because he surely knows the kindness and happiness you brought to so many of us.  Love you dearly cousin. 

My primo  gone miss so much like every one says we didn't see each other much because the distance but we r family iam going to miss ur butt calling me   out of now where lol I'll call u back and u sound surprised and tell me no I didn't then u look at u r phone and laugh gone miss u so much primo we r all just passing by in this world  until we meet again  Primo to the family Martinez Jr prayers hugs kiss to u all

My dear Rudy, I still can’t believe your gone ,I wish I could of told you how you were my favorite guy cousin. You  left so many memories behind . I’ll always remember our family reunion how you brought your boat and gave us all a ride ! How much fun we had that day and my family did too! Another time for my daughters Quince you were taking so many pictures like you loved to do and   to our surprise you personalized-a note written by you , and this beautiful photo album full of amazing shots and mailed it to us . Then at Mother’s funeral it was 2 days before Christmas and you and Marisela drove up to pay your respects . You just reminded me so much of my dad . You were a amazing son, husband, father , grandfather .  We may not have seen each other or talked often,  but when we did we picked up where we left off. I’m going to miss you . Love you cousin ... On one of our Super Bowl trips to Las Vegas Rudy and I were headed to a friend's time share to watch the game.  It was a potluck so we stopped at a Panda Express.  We then drove through a McDonald's, Rudy ordered his food.  When we got to the window Rudy paid for his order.  The Mickey D's employee noticed he was wearing a Miami Dolphins jersey.  They started talking Dolphin history.  We then drove off to the Super Bowl Party, a few minutes later I noticed the Panda  Express Chinese food aroma but not the distinct McDonald's French fry smell.  Rudy was so distracted by Dolphin conversation, he drove off with out his order. Good times! 

Rudy,   I'm going to miss you so much...  you were an amazing, loving, caring, giving brother.  There are so many loving and funny memories that I'm going to cherish forever.   Your love for your family is one that is so fairy tale like, one that so many people wish they had.  Your giving heart and selfless actions were noticed by many people, even strangers.  You even took time to come over to my house and help me with my yards and those ugly black widows... yuk... and you didn't care that it took over two hours to get there, you did if out of your love for me your sister that misses you already so much. I truly appreciated everything you did for me.  I loved it when you came over,  I'm going to miss that...  I wish I could give you just one more hug and tell you again how much you mean to me, and how much you are loved.  I'm glad to have had a wonderful loving brother like you...
