Rocci Lagana

December 5, 1917 - January 29, 2011

Rocci passed peacefully from this life on January 29th, 2011. Rocci was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Viola, and leaves behind his loving children Roxanne Ferrero and Robert Bellantoni (Linda). Adored grandfather of Lisa Hayter, Nick Ferrero, and Christina Bellantoni-Anderson (Tom). Proud great-grandfather of Brandon and Trevor Hayter. Loving companion to Mary Sauro. Rocci was a Veteran of WWII and operated Rocci's Modern Market for many years. He leaves a legacy of honesty, kindness, generosity, and selfless hard work. His devotion to family and friends was unmatched, and he will be remembered for his easygoing and calm demeanor. His greatest passions were dancing and golfing. His family wishes to thank the staff at Madrone, Atria Willow Glen, for their loving care and attention in Rocci's last years. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 3rd, at 7:00 P.M. at Lima Family Erickson Mortuary, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, Ca. Funeral Service 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 4th at the mortuary, followed by burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Donations in Rocci's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
