Robert and I (John Lopez) had dialysis together , I was so shocked when I herd that Robert is no longer with us. He would always say the 49er's almost won that one , or the Giants need some batting , and did you see the Warriors last night with such a soft smile......... I always said , we will gett'em next week ,or tomorrow we would get some runs !! I truly will miss your kindness and compassionate ways Robert, I will be seeing you at the concert above buddy !!

To the Taylor family what a loss.....Robert is one of a kind..this is John w. Lewis out of Sacramento Ca. I was given the news about Robert and I am still suffering his loss....We would normally see each other at the San Jose Jazz festival....I could not wait each year to see that happy smile that God gave him....Robert is the kind of person that made you feel good no matter how he was feeling.....Will miss you Robert we all will have to cross that same bridge one day...Hope to see you on the other side......I will not be able to attend the funeral...I will be in Merced that weekend  I wish the family the very best and remember Joy always come in the morning....Love you Robert.....John w Lewis

Robert you will be missed we worked together for a long time it was a real joy working with you always a smile never upset always calm, went on a few rides together you are truly one of the nicest guys I ever met and you will be greatly missed,

Robert,  I will miss your smile you were one of the nicest guys I ever meet. I never knew you to be sad. I last saw you last summer for the first time in many years and it was a joy. I pray that your family will find consolation knowing that you were loved by so many people. May God bless and console your family at this most difficult time.

Ray and I have known Robert and Shirley for over 40 years.  We both knew Robert when he was a young man and throughout the years we all became very good friends.  Robert will surely be missed. It is hard to imagine not seeing him anymore.  One love to all the family.   Diane and Ray Winding
