Robert was born in San Jose, CA on February 23rd, 1953. He graduated from Lincoln High School and continued on to become a VTA bus driver for Santa Clara County, where he served his community for 38 years. Robert was an outstanding bus driver as he took time to get to know many of his passengers and went above and beyond to provide extra help to those who needed it.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, playing and reading with his granddaughter, playing with his grand pups, Biggie and Dallas, listening to music, taking drives to Santa Cruz with his wife and attending church at Our Lady of Peace.
Robert was happily married to Mafi Lopez for 32 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Mafi, his 5 children, Natasha (Sammy), Robert (Marisol), Derek, Dominic, & Sabrina (Leo), his granddaughter, Dahlia, his loving mother, Odelia Lopez, his brother Enrique Lopez (Margaret Soto), and his 3 sisters, Irma Mora, Velma McGoldrick (Don), and Isamare Lopez. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lopez Sr. and brother, Carlos Lopez.
