Bob was born in Sacramento CA, August 10, 1934, son of Arthur and Alice Hansen, older brother to Donald E. Hansen. The family resided in Orland, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

Bob graduated from Orland High School and Chico State University. He also served in the United States Air Force from 1953 - 1957 and was honorably discharged. Bob and his family moved to San Jose in 1962. He retired from Hewlett-Packard in 1994.

Since retiring he has been an active member of Los Amigos Golf Club. Bob has many great friends and enjoyed lots of happy times with his friends and family through his love of the outdoors, golf, baseball, and travels to Hawaii.

Bob is survived by his children and their spouses; Christine and Ruben Balderas, Keith and Norma Hansen, and Kari Hansen; and grandchildren, Ruben, Robert, Rebecca, Roy, Cameron, Keith Eric, Jason and Kimberlie; great-grandfather of Robbie, Jayda, Aiden, Caleb, Joshua and Aaron.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Bob on Saturday, June 22 2013, 12 pm at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow St., San Jose.
