A little update; your special boy is in 1st grade. He’s doing well, turns out he’s really good in math. 🙂 Liz was able to find a good school. Everyone is really good with him, he’s succeeding. That says a lot about them.
 His Lego collection got bigger.. 🥴  
Sheyla started preschool this year too, She too is doing well. Turns out they both love school, who would’ve thought. 
Today was a sunny day, I would like to think that the sun shined brighter today because you’re at peace and I hope it continues to be that way.

I worked with Nick at Kohl's for quite a few years.  I was lucky enough to get to know him.
Nick, I literally just saw you a few months ago and now you are gone.   You were one of the nicest people I ever met.  When you had your first child I remember how excited you were.  How excited we all were for you.  You were a great dude bro!  I am so sad you are gone.  I am so sorry I was not there as a friend for so many years.  I hope and pray for your family and children.  May you rest with the angels above my friend.  No good byes, but see you later bro!

Hey Nick,
Its true what people say time does fly when your apart. This was sudden for me, the world moving fast and I'm here moving slow. You are the greatest person I ever met. I questioned God's time but he needed you. I have so many memories with you that its hard to pick one. My memory was when I was pregnant we would talk about life and future choices. I stayed behind in the warehouse and  we would talk and work for hours and lose time. you helped me like I helped you or how when I was on the walkie you would give a funny accent and made everyone laugh on the line. You called me a Chola because I used red ink only on my paperwork and you gave me backstory of being on the streets on eastside san Jose hahah I never forget memories like that or whenever I was in building 43 you text me to bring a burrito back or when we did huddle you gave me a look every time I talked to Kim while we were in session and we would laugh because everyone would be looking.  You made me laugh on days when I needed it. Nick this hit me like a pile of bricks. Google was my second home and I'm glad you entered my life not only as a manager but as friend as well. You gave me advice and I returned some advice to you. I remember when I left the company you told me it will be quiet here and your loud voice will be missed. Nick I miss you so much and even more. I will always remember your humor and jokes, your dinosaurs and small collections of funny things on your desk, when you talked about your kids and how fast there growing, when you scared us before we enter the warehouse doors. Thank you for being a friend and a lesson to my life.

My Condolences to the family and friends. He will be truly missed and always know he is there. We gained a guardian angel that will watch over us. Whenever I look up I'll think of you.

Sigh. I don’t know how to put my words together. I still can’t believe it. You know out of everyone to friends and majority of my family you were the only one who was  truly there for me. You never judged me nor disagreed but just listened. You were there to guide me through everything life can throw at anyone. You would even go out your way to help me with my car or anything else. Besides that your family at the warehouse miss you so much. The way you joke, talk about your kids or even the things you like. You were very understanding as a person you were and did your very best to just be there when someone needed to vent. Condolences to his family. It was a blessing to have you in all of our life’s. Dear Nick, 

You were part of our lives and family these past 11 years. It’s been hard to wrap our heads around the fact that you are no longer with us. 
It saddens me to know that Jaylen will never get to see his Daddy again, I’ll never get to hear my baby say “mommy, daddy, Jaylen vamos target?”You were a great dad that did anything and everything for his papas. 💙

One thing I never said was THANK YOU.
Thank you for picking me up when I had my sad days while pregnant. Thank you for letting me sleep in your bed the day before my baby shower so I could get my “beauty sleep”. Thank you for babysitting when I had my surgery. Thank you for being part of Sheyla’s life. Thank you for loving her from day one and for being her Nemo (Nino). Thank you for always pleasing her when she would have a craving for pizza or McDonald’s. 
Uncle Nemo to the rescue! Always. THANK YOU for so many things through the last decade +1. 

I promise to make sure Sheyla remembers you. To show her all the videos and pictures I have of you together and  tell her how good you were to her and remind her how much she loved you.

My beloved son,  I'm so glad you spent the last two years of your life with me in my home.  We shared meals, watched movies, went shopping,  had conversations on many topics and listened to your stories.   I will miss seeing you bring home pizza and McDonald's weekly,  your laugh,  jokes and teasing everyone in the house.   Your sudden departure here on earth has left me with so many questions as to why as it wasn't long enough for you to fulfill your dream of buying a home and see your children grow up which  saddens me. I am still trying to process all of this, but I am hoping you are with Dad, Anthony, Pop and Paddington with no pain, drinking a coke and smiling. I have so many memories that I can talk about, but I will always dwell on our after school and summer camp Nickelodeon shows. Trips to the flea market with Dad and Mom, your obsession with Fast and the Furious in your teen years, street hockey, paint ball, laser tag and most of all Star Wars. I so glad my kids got to become your kids for a bit. We will forever love and miss you. Until we see you again ..

Hi Nick.  I still don’t understand why you had to go so soon but what I do understand is that God needed you up there more than anything and so he called upon you. 
I will never forget you and how you always always always shared your stories about your kids, especially Jaylen, and shared your past work experiences, your jokes and your cares.  Going in to work is the hardest thing for me now when there are things that I expect is no longer there like when I pull into the parking lot your car is not in its usual spot for me to park next to. And walking in the doors I don’t hear your voice cracking a joke at someone.  I will never forget that crazy dinosaur collection at your desk it was insane!
We all miss you at work Nick and we will never forget you.  You are kindhearted and caring   and that’s how we will always remember you. 
My condolences to the children and family of Nick. I know that he really loved you all because he talked about his kids and family so much.  He was proud of you.
