Michael Anthony was born on March 25th, 1962 in Salinas, California to Helen P. Raso and Timothy D. Raso, who were both from La Junta, Colorado.
Michael Anthony’s early years were spent in Salinas with his brother and three sisters. He enjoyed spending time with his family, many cousins and childhood friends. He took an early liking to oldies music, classic cars and became an avid 49er’s fan. He attended Alisal High School and then later worked with his family in the hauling and moving business. He moved to San Jose, California in his early twenties with his mother and made it his home.
Michael Anthony was a stickler to detail and implemented these work ethics to his job with Mont/Rose Moving Company where he worked for 22 years as their lead mover.
Michael Anthony has two sons and a daughter of his own. In 2006, Michael Anthony and Esperanza Aguirre welcomed their daughter, Casandra Raso, who became the love of his life and greatest joy. He spent much of his time restoring his 1964 Chevy pickup which brought him much delight especially when the restoration project was completed.
He is survived by his wife Della Perez, daughter Casandra Raso and his two sons, his sisters, Jenny Raso- Ybarra, Christine Valdez and Anita Bazan, his brother Timothy Raso Jr., many nieces and nephews, family members and dear friends.
