A New Beginning for Michael Lee Geeter Jr., started on Monday, May 26th, 2021 at 9:00 am., Jesus gave Michael his wings to begin his New Journey. Michael was born the first son to ShaRon Heath Mills and Michael Lee Geeter Sr., June 26, 1978 in Sapulpa Ok.
At the age of 5, Michael and his family moved to San Jose Ca, where he attended Frost Elementary, Santa Teresa and Oak Grove High School before settling at Andrew Hill High School to complete his schooling. Michael pursued football and became Andrew Hill’s most prominent Running Back, where he led the leading rushing and touchdown record at the school. Michael attended San Jose City College for a while before a traumatic injury to his knee, which caused him to end his dream early and start a new career as a Forklift Specialist.
Michael loved his beautiful family and friends that shared his life with him, he was blessed to enjoy time with his sons and special moments with his extended family. Michael’s Mom was his most cherished pride and joy, and he spent every waking minute showering her with his love… The 2020 pandemic although tragic brought about special moments and quality time spent under the stars with his family and increased Michael’s enjoyment of reading, playing monopoly, listening to music, and his special Friday night shenanigans! Michael fought a battle everyday with his physical health and to stay here for his family.
Preceded in death by his father, Michael Lee Geeter Sr., and his sister, Shelunda Nicole Heath. Michael leaves to cherish his memories his mother, ShaRon Mills, Gilroy, CA, brother, Rayshon Mills, Atchinson, KS, sisters, Atari Starks, (husband, Norman) Phoenix, AZ, Tonya Hamlin, Sacramento, CA and Michaela Geeter, Tulsa, OK, sons, Romel and Jaden Rojas, and his extended family; son, Antonio Cuevas, daughters; Irene Rocha (husband, Mark) and Aaliyah Cuevas (fiancée, Celso) granddaughter, Khaleesi Rocha, all of San Jose, CA and a host of nieces, a nephew, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
We will cherish every moment, the great ones, the sad ones, the easy and the hard. Together as a family we learned to feel the deep sense of faith that we shared. We accept Michael’s new beginning and NO matter where this journey takes Michael next, his LOVE will remain forever with us.
