Mary Ramirez

Mary Ramirez, 81, of San Jose, CA passed away peacefully in her home on April 15th, 2023.

Her passion’s ran deep for the things she loved in life.

She loved most genres of music and was infectious for her that it became one of her favorite hobbies, that led to sharing with others through making cassette tapes, then evolved to CD’s for people she knew.

She was a very wise woman & loved sharing her words of wisdom with friends & family.

They would seek her out for her wisdom.

She loved capturing memories of family events and just hanging out through taking pictures.

She loved primping and keeping herself looking beautiful at all times.

She enjoyed cooking and baking.

She is preceded by her parents Antonio & Juana Ramirez, her 6 siblings Guadalupe “Lupe” Flores, Andrea Manjarez, Juan Ramirez, Manuel Ramirez, Elva O’Neal, Rebecca “Becky” Espino. Her son Antonio Perez, granddaughter Gabrielle Gacia and grandson John Sligar.

She is survived by her 5 children Trisha Ramirez-McCoy (Dennis), Ramond “Ray” Ramirez, Daniel “Danny” Ramirez, Renee Sepulveda (David) and Victoria “Vickie” Rodriguez (Mike).

15 grandchildren, Laura Bueno (David), Joshua Guzman, Ariel Pernice (Scott) Christopher Ramirez, Vincent Rodiguez, Adrian Sepulveda, Danielle Ramirez, Ariana Rodriguez, Adelle Sepulveda, Jenelle Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Liliana Ramirez, Yselle Ramirez, Reese Sepulveda and Neena Jaramillo & 7 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose, CA on May 1st, from 9 am - 8 pm.

Public visitation in Chapel of Oaks on May 2nd from 12 pm - 1 pm. Following, funeral services from 1 pm to 2 pm, burial 2:15 pm.
