Margaret Robles

Margarete Navarrete Robles, age 90, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2020 in Salem Oregon. She was born April 20, 1930 in Banning, CA to Jess and Isobel Navarrete of Santa Clara, CA. She married Alfred Vidal Robles on October 1, 1946 in Reno, Nevada. They returned to San Jose to start their lives.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Alfred in 1996, her parents Jess and Isobel, two sons; Tony and David and several siblings; three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her children; Luci, Suzi, and Phil, all of Oregon, Fran and Linda of Vacaville, CA, Ron of Sacramento, CA and Danny of Napa, CA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings; sisters, Lois, Chris, Patti and Brothers Carl and Henry as well as numerous nieces and nephews throughout California.

She lived in the San Jose, CA area until the late 1959's, then moved to Watsonville, CA where she raised her family. She worked for the Pillsbury-Green Giant as a Lab Tech for 25+ years. She retired to the Napa Valley to be close to family in 1989. She loved to volunteer at the Napa Valley Food Bank. Her hobbies were her family, sewing crocheting and gardening.

In 2013, she decided to spend the last of her retirement years in Oregon to be with family there.

There is a visitation scheduled for Thursday, July 16 from 1:30-2:30 pm, in the Chapel of Roses of Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose CA. Interment at graveside from 3:00-3:30, where a Priest of the families choosing will officiate.
