Manuel born in Horta, Faial and raised in Sao Roque , Pico from the Azores Islands passed away peacefully on February 15, 2012 in San Jose at the age of 90.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Rosa and his devoted children, Antonio (Sandra) Rosa in San Jose, Manuel (Sandra) Rosa in San Jose, 4 caring grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. And father to the late Maria Guiomar Payne and Luis Manuel Rosa. Loving brother to Maria Mauricio from Hayward, Idalina Silva from Pacific Grove, Jose G. (Fatima) Rosa from Fremont and late Maria Rosario Pinheiro. Loving brother-in-law to Evelina Costa, Belmira Pinheiro and Palmira Ibarra all residing in San Jose. Leaves behind many nephews and nieces from California and Azores Islands. May his soul rest in peace.
Funeral Services on Thurs., Feb. 23, 2012 at Willow Glen Funeral Home viewing from 10-5pm, viewing at St. John Vianney Church 5:30-6:30pm, rosary at 6:30pm mass at 6:45pm. Fri. Feb. 24, 2012 viewing at the funeral home from 8-9am follow by burial at Los Banos Cemetery.
