Mi mas sentido pésame Hermana Amalia Acosta y Familia, por la pérdida de nuestro Hermano Luis Acosta. Dios les de fortaleza en estos momentos de duelo. Recuerdan que el todo poderoso ya le dio la corona de vida a nuestro hermano. Mi familia y yo estamos agradecidos de haberlo conocido y haber convivido momentos bonitos juntos.  El fue un hermano y amigo de mi familia. Recuerdo que unos de sus sueños que él me comentaba, qué quería que la iglesia fuera mas grande y gracias a su esfuerzo se realizó. Queda un recuerdo que sus manos trabajaron en cada rincón de la iglesia. Siempre lo recordaremos que fue un siervo del señor en todo sentido físicamente y espiritualmente. Estamos en oración para que Dios les de consuelo y la bendición mas grande es que se fue con la fe que Cristo viene. Estamos seguros que ya esta en el libro de la promesa.  

Peace and Blessings to the Acosta family. It is truly a blessing to have known my brother Luis Acosta. He was one of my spiritual fathers growing up in the faith at Mccreery. I learned a lot from him, not only Doctrine, but also from his character. He was rock solid in the Faith, it didn't matter what storms the Church was facing, he knew God always prevailed. He was a great motivator and leader. I would tell him that he was the "Cowboy of the Church," and he would smile. God Bless our Brother who now rest in the Lord. It's a sad day, but brother Acosta has finished the race. When the trumpet sounds he will rise again with all the saints. God be with all of the Acosta family, and our sister Acosta. We love you.

My most sincere condolences to the Acosta Family, my love and prayers for you all during this time.  I love you all very much! God Bless you all, rest in peace Hno Acosta until we meet again. 

I remember when he, his wife, and children walked in the church, the children would walk in one at a time between the two parents. They had a paper and pencil in hand and wrote the Bible verses the speaker would mention...no playing in church, they were there to worship...and worship they did! There isn’t enough room to write down the great examples he taught us (the congregation) by example.   I, for one, learned much by watching him and his wife live the Gospel.  The Lord give him rest.... until we meet again.  Paz a usted varón del Señor, un millón de gracias por su buen ejemplo.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. 

I have many fond memories of Tio Luis, such a respectful and wonderful man. We spent a lot of the time with the family growing up. And  when we were older we spent many afternoons playing the board game Risk for hours. 

My mom tells me when I was a toddler in the late 60s that I would wait by the door until Tio Luis came home from work when we lived on the ranch in Berryessa. Tio Luis will be missed so much. I love and miss you Tio!

Dios bendiga y fortalezca a la familia Acosta. Nuestro hermano ya descansa en paz. Ha peleado la buena batalla, ha acabado la carrera, y ha guardado la fé. Ya está guardada su corona se justicia. Gracias a nuestro hermano por su liderazco en la iglesia, por su noblezca, por su amistad, por ser buen ejemplo, y por compartir su conocimiento con nosotros por muchos años. Celebramos su vida que vivió en la tierra y celebramos la vida que tendrá en el reino. Nos veremos algún día cuando nuestro Señor Jesus Cristo redentor nos reune a todos en aquel día. Paz a vosotros y Dios los bendiga.

Me entristece profundamente la pérdida que han sufrido usted y su familia.
Es un honor haber conocido ha el Hno. Acosta desde mi joventud.
Recordé la vez que ofreció oraciones con sus palabras profundas por mi madre, y yo.
