Kevin was such a generous person inside of work and outside of work. He supported others and shared positive energy that helped everyone feel better. He had a profound impact on the incarcerated individuals he worked with. He taught them great lessons about life and they trusted him. 
Kevin was so creative and artistic. In our office at work we have a picture he drew and threw in the trash. My office mate and I hung it up because it was amazing! To him what was a small piece of art, to us he gifted brilliance. He expressed himself beautifully and was very humble about his talents. 
He sure knew how to light up a room! He didn’t even have to speak, his energy just made everyone feel better. He was so kind to everyone.  He was the one who encouraged our group of coworkers to hangout outside of work. We had a thanksgiving meal together, he met my cats, and we talked about life. He was a great friend listening to me and offered new perspectives. He was never afraid of the future and lived life with his heart guiding him. I know he positively impacted hundreds of people in the 3 correctional facilities he’s worked in. I will try to do good deeds in his name and treat others with the kindness he blessed us. 

I will always remember Kevin as the first person I ever met on the job that took me under his wing with complete happiness and with a huge desire to help and that’s exactly who he was. A kind, brilliant, and energetic young man that was ready and willing to go for it all. With his never-changing positive attitude and his positive outlook on life. Kevin, or as I called him RT Nguyen, never failed to ensure that others felt uplifted when their spirits were down and to put others before himself. I will forever be grateful for what he did for me and the amazing bond that we built in such a short amount of time. To all of Kevin’s family and friends, I want to wish my sincerest condolences during these difficult times but, I believe we can all take solace in the fact that he would have wanted us to celebrate the life he lived to the fullest. Kevin, Mr. Nguyen, RT Nguyen, many names but still always the same person. You have left your mark on this world and everyone will forever be grateful for that. Thank you for everything my dear friend, you will live in our hearts forever!
