My deepest condolences. Although we lost touch, I always considered Kathy as a good friend.  From our days at Rancho through every reunion (I would have been lost without her to sit and talk with).  I will always remember her fondly as someone who was very kind, extremely intelligent, and one of my favorite people.  My heart is broken knowing she is no longer with us.

You were a best friend to my mother and I always knew you as Aunt Kathy. Everything came full circle when you met my first born son. We had plans for you to meet my newest addition Cody. I’m not one for long winded speeches, but I’ve only met a few people in my life who brighten the room like you did. You made everyone around you feel their worth by being the genuine person you were. This would give you a laugh, but you will be mentioned for many generations to come as the reason my family will be 49ers fans. I’ve already told Logan the story as to why we root for our guys on Sunday. Aunt Kathy, we love you dearly. 

I’m sending condolences to Kathy’s family with heart felt grief and sadness on the one hand yet rejoicing with them on the other hand because their loved one made it home, greeted with a resounding shout, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”
At one time, I volunteered in the Children’s Ministry at Acts Full Gospel Church when Kathy  was part of that ministry. She was indeed a faithful steward of the gifts God bestowed upon her. Always there when she was in town, and imparting all she had to the young people she taught. I’ll always remember her smile and laughter. We were roommates at a women’s ministry retreat where we talked and laughed most of night. She was a joy to be around seemingly never having a bad day. Of course, I realize she may have had many but no one knew because she kept it between her and the Lord. See will be sorely missed most by her family but also by those who crossed her path.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  While it has been many years since I've seen Kathy, looking at these pictures she hadn't changed a bit.  Her beautiful smile and her love of life shines through them all.  I can still hear her laugh even after all this time.  

One of my favorite memories is teasing her about being "Irish" and arranging for a singing telegram delivered by a rather large non-leprechaun looking man for St. Patrick's Day.  She got such a kick out of it, we secretly arranged to have him do it again the following year.  I thought she was going to fall off her chair, she was laughing so hard. 

I hope you can take solace in remembering all the lives she touched and the joy she brought into this world.  

Sis Kathy had that beautiful smile and loved the Lord. She was so sweet, kind, humble and a good friend. I’m going to miss her coming through the church doors where we greeted one another with hugs. Sis Kathy, rest well in the arms of the Lord. Praying for the family.

My most heartfelt condolences to the McIver family for the loss of Kathy.   Kathy enjoyed God's gift of life.  She will always be very special to me because she was so much a part of my youth, and I know that she held tremendous influence in so many other people's lives too.   Now she is with God because her job here has been done well.

A Dear Friend:
      I will truly miss Kathy and words cannot express enough what Kathy has meant to me.  She has left a void in my heart (“A friend loveth at all time; and a  brother is born for adversity.”- Proverbs 17:17), Kathy was that friend.  Her infectious laugh and words of encouragement were there to keep you uplifted.
