Joselito "Jojo" M. Santos

SAN JOSE –

Joselito “Jojo” Santos, 61, died on May 25, 2024, at Kaiser Santa Clara. He was born June 19, 1962, in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines, the son of Eusebio and Angelina (Mastrili) Santos.

Jojo graduated from Pateros Catholic High School, Class of 1979. Jojo traveled to the United States for work in 1980. The majority of his life, he served as a bus driver for the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) of Santa Clara County. He was a proud member of the North Yard and assumed badge number 9597. Jojo was an officer in the Taguig Association of America’s San Jose Chapter.

He was predeceased by his father, Eusebio Santos. He is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years Maria Gloria (Marcelino) Santos; his son, Jeric Santos (Ruiting Quian); his daughters, Janel Marcelino (John Zerr) and Jasmine Santos; his mother, Angelina Santos; his grandchild, Jamie Santos; and his siblings, Robert Santos (Wilma), Dante Santos, Evelyn Santos-Johannesson (Richard), and Grace Santos-Retuta (Erick); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, June 24th from 4PM to 8PM with a 6PM Rosary prayer at Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, at 300 Curtner Avenue San Jose, CA 95125. His funeral will be held at the same place on Tuesday, June 25th at 10AM.
