I remember how he was dedicated to his wife Armida. He had a wonderful way to make you laugh and he was a wonderful Uncle. I shall miss him. May he rest in peace. May God be with the family and comfort them at this time

Joe was a loving and caring stepfather he was a wonderful grandfather to all my children and a devoted husband to my mother he will be missed but he is in a better place with god in heaven resting. I will remember his sense of humor and cherish the laughter that we shared. We all as a family enjoyed the life that we spent with him and our holiday cruise to the Mexican Riviera
was my special trip with Joe and the family.

I met Joe through his sister-in-law Marie, who became friends with me after I wrote a review of the Casa Vicky restaurant she owns.  I have photos of Joe at my birthday celebrations with Marie and his wife Armida since 2011. We all took a trip to Cambria together one time too. When Joe learned I am a writer, he expressed a wish that he could write some stories of the events he'd experienced. I'm sorry that we could never quite make the connection to get his stories written down. One consolation is that I learned from his step-daughter Vicky that his children and step-children and other family members have the stories in their memories. I really liked Joe, and I'm sorry he's gone.

Here's another wonderful memory we have of him in San Diego where they lived for many years with his loving daughter Charlene.

We will always remember Uncle Joe's smile, laughter, sense of humor, and most of all his love for his  wife Armida. 
After they retired Uncle Joe loved to drive & travel. We would like to remember them both on the road visiting  his family in the East Coast, Arizona, and San Diego to see his daughter Charlene.
Uncle Joe may you rest in peace. Watch  over Armida until she crosses over to meet you. Keep her safe.
