In commemoration of John "Lupe" Jordan. We celebrate his endearing spirit and life of 77 years. John-Lupe was born on March 9, 1946 in Texas and entered into God's Heavenly Kingdom on October 18, 2023. We do find comfort in knowing John-Lupe is now with his father John-Lupe, mother Celia, sister's Carmen, Esther, Eva, and brother Ralph as well as all our beloved family members in heaven as well as our lord and savior JESUS Christ. When John-Lupe was 8 years old, his parents moved their family from Texas to California. John-Lupe graduated from Cupertino High School. He married Judy Ortega in September 1966. He is also survived by his sisters Angie Naranjo and Margie Jordan.
John-Lupe was a loving father and grandfather to his son; John, daughter's Christina and Teresa, grandson's Edgar and Armin and granddaughter Christina. Part of his close family circle were his nephew David "DJ" and son-in-law Frank.
John-Lupe also had many nieces and nephews as well as brother and sister in laws who loved him dearly.
We would also like to mention that John-Lupe has family in Texas that have always held a special place in his heart.
In his spare time John-Lupe loved to play the guitar and sometimes accordion. As a younger man, he played music with multiple groups. He was a hard worker and began working at a young age in the fields picking cotton, apricots and prunes. He later was self-employed installing chain link fences. He taught his son John as well as other family members the value of hard work.
John-Lupe was an inspiration to his family and loved ones.
John-Lupe also enjoyed watching boxing, football and basketball specifically the 49ers and the Golden State Warriors with his son and grandsons. He also attended classic car shows with his son John throughout the years.
John-Lupe loved to spend time with his (2) grandsons Edgar and Armin as well as his granddaughter Christina. He enjoyed going to various places, such as Santa Cruz and San Francisco with his daughters Tina, Teresa and wife Judy.
He enjoyed playing the guitar with his nephew DJ and also teaching his grandson and granddaughter how to play the guitar and drums. John-Lupe's kind hearted nature made everyone who came into contact with him feel welcomed. His demeanor never changed. He treated everyone with a kind and gentle touch. He has been and will forever remain an inspiration and guiding light to us all.
He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten because his spirit lives on in each one of his loved ones. John-Lupe's love will definitely leave an imprint on our hearts. It has true blessing and honor to share life and love with such a "kind hearted, loving" person. May he Rest in Peach with his parents, siblings and our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST.
