Jess Hernandez Jr.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our Beloved Jesse James Hernandez Jr. of Sunnyvale, CA., on December 29, 2023., surrounded by his family. Jess was born in Redwood City, Ca. on August 22,1963 to Maria and Jesus Hernandez.

He leaves behind his loving wife and High School sweetheart Dora Alicia Hernandez, children Jezerae (Abraham) Hernandez-Serrano and Jesse James Hernandez III, grandchildren Eliana Rae Serrano and Ezekiel James Serrano. And “Dally” to Maricela Santana, Julian Aguilar, Zenaida Aguilar, and great “Dally” to Xavier Anthony. Brother of 2 sisters and 8 brothers, Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Godfather to Ramon Romero and Maricela Aguilar.

Jesse was a huge Raider, Warriors, and A’s fan, he had a passion for Motorcycles, VW Bugs and Music. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A visitation for Jesse will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125 with vigil at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will occur Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Martin Catholic Church, 593 Central Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94087 with committal service to follow at 1:00 PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 22555 Cristo Rey Dr, Los Altos, CA 95024.
