Jean M. Ackerman, aged 83, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in her hometown of San Jose, California after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Stephen and Antoinette Bruna.
She is survived by her three children John, Stephanie, and Dennis. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Jean was a homemaker who loved to cook and entertain. She also loved to travel, watch sports, and play with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation to be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 2278 Booksin Avenue, San Jose. Burial to follow at 12 noon at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, San Jose.
