His journey began on July 21, 1974, in Santa Cruz, CA. Jimmy graduated from Harbor High School and earned his BA in Literature from University of California, Santa Cruz. It was at Harbor High where he met the love of his life after the teacher sat them next to each other in her War & Peace class. Coincidentally, they both shared the same passion for Literature. It was then when their journey began and married fourteen years later October 6, 2007.
Jimmy was a jack of all trades. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix, reverse engineer, build, learn or recreate. The bigger the challenge, the greater the reward. Jimmy was born with an innate talent to take on anything he decided he wanted to learn. No questions asked, he just made it happen. He never did anything halfway, when he took on a new project, he completed it with perfection. In the end, Jimmy earned a BA in Literature, a Broker’s license, a Real Estate license, a CCIM Designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and was in the process of earning his MBA so he could transition from Commercial Lending to Real Estate Developer. He was merely a brilliant but modest man.
Jimmy loved reading (fantasy & sci-fi were his favorites), tinkering on cars (especially Volkswagen’s), golfing, movies, music, dance parties to old school rap & top 40, volleyball, the beach, Santa Cruz, floating in the pool, camping, fly fishing, skiing, fantasy football, poker, Bud Light & Lagunitas, the Niners, the A’s, and the Warriors. He especially loved spending time with this wife doing just about anything. They both enjoyed watching and attending live pro sports games, spending time with friends and family, and leisure bike rides around town.
Jimmy never hesitated to help someone and will be remembered as a selfless, kind, soft-hearted man.
He was so gifted and truly loved life.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Adrianne Anderson; his brother, Michael Anderson; his parents Richard & Gladys Anderson; brother in-law and nephews, Brian Stevens, Jacob Stevens and Andrew Stevens; and in-laws, Arlie & Josie Ferguson.
