Ignacio Ramirez Jr.

Ignacio Ramirez Jr., 63, of San Jose, passed away on August 22, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on January 12, 1960 to Ignacio & Maria Ramirez in Mendota, California. After Ignacio graduated from Tranquility Union High School in 1978, he went on to study Business at Fresno State University. He then pursued a higher education at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, receiving a Masters of Business Administration. In 1976, Ignacio met Gloria at Tranquility Union High School. They went on to have 4 children: Justin, Alexander, Andrew and Christian, raising them in San Jose, California. Devoting several years of work in the money transfer industry, Ignacio evolved into the prestigious role of Vice President at Western Union, where he led the marketing department. His bright smile, creative recipes and humorous jokes will be greatly missed.

Ignacio was predeceased by Angie Ramirez Kalina and Maria De Jesus Bañuelous Ramirez. He is survived by his father, Ignacio Z. Ramirez Senior, his wife of 40 years, Gloria; Sons Justin, Alexander, Andrew & Christian, 2 grandchildren and siblings

Services will be held on September 9, 2023 at 12pm
